Dream Charters Community Support

Giving Back To Our Community

At Dream Charters, we believe we have a responsibility to support our community by partnering with organizations that make a difference in the cities where we work and play.

As a company, we decided to focus our efforts in 3 key areas:

  • Food Insecurity
  • At-Risk Youth
  • Students With Learning Disabilities & Economic Challenges

In addition to our financial support, we walk alongside schools, area non-profits and charity organizations by volunteering our time, collecting supplies and donating our luxury rentals to be used as auction items. We’re proud to support worthy causes and organizations that make a positive impact in Houston and our other partner cities.

Our community friends and partners include:

  • Homemade Hope
  • Houston Children’s Charity
  • Houston Fire Department
  • Loaves ‘N Fishes
  • Mack Performing Arts Collective
  • Second Servings of Houston
  • Tava Cares
  • Today’s Harbor for Children
  • Blackshear Elementary School
  • Gregory Lincoln Educational Center
  • Westbury High School
  • Yates High School

Giving Back Through Area Auctions & Fundraisers

Risotto Sponsorship

Thanksgiving Meals

Holiday Toy Drive

Homemade Hope

This past year we’ve had the opportunity and privilege to donate more than $10,000 worth of luxury weekend rentals to the annual auction and gala “Home Is Where The Heart Is.”

This important event is one of the primary fundraisers for Homemade Hope, a nonprofit serving Houston’s homeless and at-risk children through cooking classes, holiday celebrations, and field trips.

Today's Harbor For Children Fundraiser

Today’s Harbor For Children

Additionally, this event supports Today’s Harbor for Children, a nonprofit and advocate for abused and neglected children throughout the southeast Texas region.

The money raised from the audition went directly to each organization to support their primary services and mission.

Additionally, Dream Charters provided more than 50 meals for homeless children at Christmas through Homemade Hope’s meal program.

Tava Cares Golf Tournament

Each year Tava Cares holds an annual fall golf tournament to raise funds to provide financial assistance and resources to women diagnosed with breast cancer, their caregivers, and their families.

We’ve had the distinct privilege to sponsor a team of four golf players and support this important mission.

Risotto Festival

Second Servings of Houston

As a Plate Sponsor at the 15th Annual Risotto Festival, we had the opportunity to raise funds alongside Second Servings of Houston. This incredible organization is dedicated to alleviating hunger and reducing food waste.

Second Servings rescues surplus food from businesses and provides free same-day delivery to approved charitable meal sites.

Volunteer Work

Houston’s Children’s Charity

During the 2021 holiday season, the Dream Charters team volunteered at the Annual Christmas Program hosted by Houston Children’s Charity which provides holiday cheer to more than 20,000 children.

Loaves and Fishes

Loaves N’ Fishes

The DC team volunteered to feed lunch to more than 200 meals to individuals facing homelessness through Loaves N’ Fishes. Together, we were able to provide Thanksgiving meals and gas gift cards to more than 50 low-income families and students of Yates High School in the Historic Third Ward in Houston.

Kid's Meals

Volunteering together is one way we create a supportive community and build a team culture at Dream Charters. This year’s service project put Dream Charters in the driver’s seat.

We “chauffeured” meals to children in need through Kid’s Meals, a program dedicated to ending childhood hunger. This Houston organization delivers free, healthy meals to preschool-aged children.
